Your Strong Week Plan is the single most important tool to keep you focused on your Strengths Path. It takes everything you have learned and puts it into practice. This simple plan is designed to help you focus on what you need to get done each week, establish whether these tasks are strengthening or weakening, and determine what strategies you can do to leverage your Strengths and minimize your Weaknesses.
DIRECTIONS: Every week, schedule 20 minutes to complete your Strong Week Plan.
  1. Identify one or two key objectives you are focusing on this week.
  2. Delineate the tasks/activities you need to do in order to make headway on these objectives. Make sure each task is specific and includes a timeline.
  3. Anticipate how these tasks will make you feel. Will they strengthen you or weaken you?
  4. Consider:
    • What Strengths can I leverage to get these tasks done?
    • What can I do to spend less time on the activities that weaken me?
  5. Lastly, at the end of your work week, take some time to evaluate the following:
    • What strategies worked well during your week to help you have a Strong Week? Be specific.
    • Did the activities you initially labeled as Strong really make you feel this way?
    • Were you able to effectively minimize your Weaknesses to meet your desired key outcomes? How?
